Our sixth form students had a jampacked week just before they broke up for the Christmas holidays.
A big thank you has to go to our Sixth Form Social Committee team who ran a fantastic Winter Wonderland charity event.
Romilly, Zara, Gabby, Ella and Adam worked tirelessly to create a brilliant and successful evening for our Year 12 and 13 students and staff. The event raised over £300 for Save the Children and everyone enjoyed a fantastic 3-course meal. The Sixth Form Team were also amazing with all their hard work and support for the event.
A special thanks to Mr Steele, Mr Watkins, Mrs Thomas, Mrs Waterworth and Mr Mason who were waiters/waitresses for the evening sending out 200 covers for all the special guests.
Then our last week wouldn’t have been complete without our annual Christmas Concert, back with a bang since 2019. Our sixth form students played pivotal roles and really showed great leadership and responsibility for the younger students at Horsforth School. Big thanks to Mrs Cairns and Miss Botham for organising it. Everyone’s hard work and dedication paid off and parents were thrilled.
