Community Little Free Libraries have been a catalyst for building a love for reading, inspiring readers and expanding book access for all and have grown in popularity recently – so we wanted one of own.
We would like to invite any student to come and use our little library situated on the main corridor outside the library. The little library has been fully stocked with the latest range of fiction and non-fiction books which are split up into age appropriate categories. The only rule of the library is that you must put a book in, to take one out. This is to encourage students to share stories that they have loved with others in our school community. Once a student has finished a book from the little library, we would like to encourage them to come back and change it for another one, it’s that simple!
