We would be delighted for prospective Year 7 students and their parents/carers to join us at our open evening on Thursday 3rd October from 6pm – 8.30pm.

Our academic results confirm our position as one of the top performing schools in Leeds. This summer 59% of our students achieved a strong GCSE pass (5+) in English and mathematics and 81% of our students achieved a standard pass. We nearly doubled the number of our top grades, with 7% of all grades being grade 9.

We firmly believe in opportunity and achievement for all and are proud to provide a first class education which aims to equip students with the confidence, competence, knowledge, skills and understanding to fit easily and actively into a rapidly changing society.

We aim to ensure that all students enjoy learning and achieve their potential, not only in their studies but also creatively, practically and in sporting activities. Our clubs, trips and after school activities give our students the opportunity to get involved in language trips to Salamanca and Paris, the science trip to CERN to see the Large Hadron Collider, the history trip to Berlin, the Mandarin Excellence Programme, the opportunity to join the Combined Cadet Force, to play an integral part in the renowned school productions or take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Awards – we have lots of opportunities.

At our open evening you will be able to hear from our Headteacher; see science and food technology demonstrations; experience art, I.T. and music workshops; sample food from the diner; tour the school and meet with students and staff.

Here’s a selection of photos from last year’s event.
