Wellbeing and Safeguarding

To fulfil their potential, students need to feel valued, respected and safe. Every student has a Student Pastoral Leader, Form Tutor, access to a Year and School Council, where concerns can be raised, as well as a Special Needs Co-ordinator and a Behaviour Support Team. There are regular meetings to discuss general progress.

We strive to ensure that all members of the school community are treated with respect and dignity. Horsforth School staff support the promotion of equality of opportunity for all and pursue non-discriminatory policies and practices while valuing individual differences and eliminating discrimination on the grounds of disability, age, ethnicity, class, gender or sexual orientation.
