We are looking for someone who is committed to securing high standards and raising academic attainment. Join us and you will be part of a fantastic department with a strong team ethos. We are a creative forward thinking department and believe in working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting each other to achieve great things as we develop innovative teaching and learning strategies.

Success runs through our ambitious and consistently oversubscribed 11-19 school, which enjoys strong community and international links.  Our commitment to excellence in education is recognised nationally.

This has been recognised through our recent successful bid for a Post 16 free school. The North West Leeds Sixth Form Centre will be opening alongside Horsforth School and will not only increase opportunities for students but also our colleagues who will be given the opportunity to work across two, closely located sites, in other words, there’s never been a more exciting time to join us.

For our 1400 students, Horsforth School provides an engaging environment of discovery and growth. For our colleagues too, this setting offers some great benefits. Located in north-west Leeds, the school is just five miles from the city centre with its thriving retail, leisure and cultural facilities, yet on the edge of open countryside. York, Harrogate and the Dales are within easy reach.
