Health and Emotional Wellbeing

Students and Parents/Carers can seek advice in school on a variety of health and wellbeing issues, by speaking to any member of the BST, Deputy Head teacher Mrs Rachel Hastings, Assistant Head teacher Mrs S Nowell or by a referral to the school nurse via any of the above named members of staff. The pastoral team works closely with outside agencies and with Horsforth extended services to provide our young people with professional help and guidance that goes beyond the means of the school.

Please contact school should you wish to speak to our Pastoral staff.

Mrs Nowell is the key lead on Healthy Schools, whilst the Life Skills Curriculum Leader, Head of PE and Head of Cooking in the Curriculum are also responsible for key areas concerning health education and promotion of it both inside and outside of the curriculum.
