Cllr Chris Townsley - Local Authority Representative

Councillor Chris Townsley has been a governor of Horsforth High School for 15 years, primarily as a Local Authority governor and has sat on various committees.
Chris has been a City Councillor for Horsforth since 1991 and has sat on many committees including Licensing, Planning, Highways, Social Services and Leisure Services. The pinnacle of his time on Council was in 2004 when he was honoured by becoming the Lord Mayor of Leeds.He is also a governor of Westbrook Lane Primary School and a Member of the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Authority, a director of the West Yorkshire Playhouse and President of the Horsforth Historical Society and Horsforth Choral Society.
Chris  is also an Equity Card carrier and has appeared in many T.V. programmes and advertisements.
